He did not last week (not that it made any difference to the result ) and he wont this week , i have said it before they could be penalised virtually every tackle for some sort of slowing the play ball down but we know that will not happen , we have got to try and compete the same way i'm afraid .
I've said before, its noticeable that virtually all refs let the game flow more in the grand final and little things pulled up during regular rounds are generally let go so it will probably suit Wigan more with their work in slowing the play the ball. That said, im glad it's Thaler, he has been far and away the best ref this year.He did miss,or let go, the Bateman head work on the floor last week but im quite confident with him in charge we will be talking about the rugby rather than the decisions made after the game.
