Yep, it's not a case of thinking the guy is lying or making it up. I just recognised thats their's 3 sides to every transfer saga.....the selling club, the buying club and the player, and a lot of the time you'll get three different version of events if you spoke to each one.
I'm sure if people spoke to John Stones and Saido Berahino during the transfer window that they'd tell you that they were on their way to Chelsea and Spurs.....their clubs would beg to differ.
