Walmesley has consistently been Saints best performer this year (which doesn't mean a lot currently, I know). His stats from the super league site would suggest he's probably improved as the season has worn on as well (www.superleague.co.uk/matchday/player/20567). I'd find room for all 3 of Peacock, Walmesley and Cuthbertson in my team.

So how many other big games has he played in for Cas this year? For someone to say he hasn't looked as good in the big games.

Are you now saying Wigan, Saints, Wire are bigger games than Leeds?

I don't particularly remember him standing out...but my memory is shocking

All I really remember is that being a very odd game with Leeds not turning up until 20mins. Actually was it Gale that Ablett literally walked through to get us back into the game?

None. Just regular league games and early cup rounds.

I never said he did, I just dispute that the league game at Headingley was a big game.

So in other words, you just jumped in again? We both agree that of the big games he has played (league) there isn't a suggestion he has not performed? So it is wrong to say in the big games he hasn't been as good?
