Would imagine a chunk of Watkins tackling would have been done after Burrow came on, and he ended up defending fourth man in on the right for a period rather than third.

Most likely and this is another reason why you don't want Burrow on as hooker for a large chunk of the match. Do we really want Watkins to be having to make a load of tackles as fourth man in and wearing him out.

As for Stevie Ward I thought he did ok on his comeback but got dragged into the niggly side from Wigan. He also didn't get his choice of boots right in the first half as he slipped over on quite a few occasions.

Bateman was playing centre.
