Shame for the guy! Hope he gets to go out on his terms next year, but time will tell.

I think he will have been earmarked for a big role next year in terms of his leadership within the group with the losses of Sir Kev and JP etc. It will be pretty hard to have a major influence over the group now if he is in one on one rehab for the best part of the next year!

I'd take Hansen of the two. He's a real leader, and runs his blood to water. Paterson probably has more natural talent, but he's an injury prone, flat track bully IMO.

Both spend plenty of time in treatment room.

Paterson gives you an additional goal-kicking option, but if you're signing second rows for their goal-kicking you're doing it wrong.
