BUT of course I agree with others we're not exactly most in need of back rowers or indeed wingers. IF he is far better of course than our prsent options then he would - like Buderus - still be a good signing. However, if it's not now too late, the priority should still be quality half back IMO. Sinfield gone; McGuire yet another year older; Sutcliffe recovering from a serious injury/maybe better at LF regardless; Burrow questionable in the role; Lilly probably too young/unblooded enough (I don't know of course). Half back is undoubtedly a priority.

I could see him playing out wide for Saints, we miss a bit of bulk out there. But defensively most of those shots would now be illegal. All shoulder charges, that's going to take something from his game.

He's Ok in defence. Just the laziest of runners. For years everyone has screamed at him to stand a bit deeper and hit the ball at speed, but time and again he gets it standing still, completely negating his strength.

At the very least 2/3 yrs too late imo if we did an incentive based deal it may be worth a go as for replacing Masoe ST's have signed Tasi a more than adequate Prop imo.

I think he's named after the band rather than the beast.
