Agree with this.
But if it's here is there anything stopping us paying Hall as the marquee one year then Hardaker the next then Watkins the following year, this way you could have your 5 top players on 5 year contracts each having a year as the marquee player or maybe it's not allowed to work that way. |

If we are after a half back James Maloney would fit the bill and is more realistic, he's off contract and not signed up. He is exactly the type of player the marquee rule will attract. On the fringes of Origin, not an international but a gun player.

Indeed and a champion bloke with a wife, fits the Rhinos mould. He would be 29 at the start of next season so defo 3 good years in him maybe more.
He would be a coup for any super league club.

Totally agree with you. Interestingly a few days ago there was an interview in SMH with his manager who said he was considering 4 options, one of which was SL? |
