I read it exactly as you wrote it, you clearly "know" that Hardaker was upset at dropping a point and not upset because he was bitten.

I feel like Hardaker was a little annoyed as he felt Connor was offside and expected a penalty, when that didn't come and Connor was sill at him Hardaker lashed out a little. That's how I saw it. Hardakers previous is colouring people's view of him these days and I don't think he can complain about that. Sent home from the England squad, 'involved' in an assault, banned for unacceptable language etc. It just makes people jump to conclusions whenever he does the slightest thing now and he'll have to deal with that.

jake shouldn't have got involved with the niggling, but as for a bite?? i have watched it back and not seen anything to suggest he has been bitten.

if... if he has then connor should face a few games sat at home, it would be interesting to see what the MRP thinks about it on monday.
if there is no bite there then maybe it's just trying to hide the fact that hardaker was lucky not to concede a penalty for striking..saying that though connor should have walked away and not let the niggle get to him.
