| We all know that Captain Teflon, the RFL's golden boy, will get a couple of games and a "don't be a naughty boy again" slap on the wrist.

| Speaking as a Cas fan I'd say it was something and nothing...you see far worse most weeks and Sinfield has never been 'that' type of player...neither is Dorn for that matter. Similarly much as it would be useful for us to see him suspended (ideally until after the weekend of the 10th August ) his record should mean that he doesn't get too much.
Interesting thing is that it is so out of character for him...do you thing the pressure of how much he seems to be having to carry the Leeds team at the moment? This season is the worst from the other Leeds play makers for a long, long time (not having a dig, just how it seems with McGuire, etc) so maybe the workload is getting to him.

What else are you expecting?
Life time ban perhaps?

| Moment of madness from him. That's all. Even the greatest player ever has a hot headed moment.

| Quote dubairl="dubairl"and your the one asking for unbiased opinions.
Sinfield was bridged over him and holding him down as Dorn made a break, once Thaler blew for the penalty Dorn got up vexed off and was shouting for him to be binned and Sinfield really didn't like that and misread the situation in my opinion but ultimately head butted him with out any real intent.'"
How do you head butt someone without any intent ?
He head butted Dorn, referee the made correct decision in sending him off.
He will get banned for number of matches Sinfield himself & Hetherington tell RFL to ban him for.

| It looked like both players moved head forward for a rub. Dorn pulled back , Sinfield didn't.
I also think Sinfield was pumped up and didn't control his aggression because the rest of the pack showed little or no aggression in the second half .

| Red card and one game ban sounds appropriate.
Let's not get carried away.

| Lots of hysteria about this.
Yes it was a "head butt", but this one, judged on its own doesn't deserve a long ban. 1 or 2 games at most. Sinfield lost his head for a moment and reacted. It happens and will continue to happen in a lot of matches.
My personal view, as a Wigan fan, if that happens 15 mins earlier, sending off sufficient, as it was late in the game 1 to 2 games. No length of ban will punish Sinfield more than he will punish himself.
From a selfish point of view, wanting my team to win, ban him for life as it gives Wigan more of a chance of beating Leeds with him not playing. but on a serious note, lets all get over it, normally a fair player that doesn't do things like this, something must have been said to provoke. Lets also remember that Luke Dorn also says that these things happen in a game some times, doesn't make Sinfield a bad man.
Good luck for the Semi, will be cheering for the Rhinos in the final hopefully.
