Leigh were better, granted we weren't 'hot' but get over it. We are second in the league, in the semi's of the CC, most clubs would dream to be in this position.
As for attacking 'painfully poor' ? Really? We have a few run of games where we aren't on top form and it resorts to this.
And as for dummy runners, it might as well be an illegal move as the obstruction rule is killing this.
A bit knee jerk me thinks.

You know this to be DEFINITELY true? Should note that whilst I didn't use these terms previously how does anyone here know informal descussions or some people weren't considered?
And no, some Rhinos/YEP press release on how "we think this is the right way to go" means that is actually what happened. That would be as daft as believing for certain that Hardaker wrote his statement word for word. |

I think Lowes is a strong enough character to have been able to stand up to McDermott and point out when he thought things weren't working.
Eaton - who has his own job to do at Hunslet - and Plume don't strike me as strong enough to do that.
A chunk of responsibility has to fall on the senior players too though. If Plan A isn't working, you need to be smart enough and brave enough to play what's in front of you and change it around.

The concern for me is that McDermott seems to have no plan B and when it's really mattered in the big games this season, we've not performed to the level we are capable of, irrespective of the result.
Whilst appreciating the hooking issue and continually changing half backs, we have got by this season by beating all the weak teams and with some tough games coming up, we could easily slide back into the pack, as opposed to winning a long overdue LLS!!

So now are you saying GH and the head Coach are lying?
They BOTH stated that they wouldn't be looking to hire a direct replacement for Lowes at this time due to the arrangements pointed out! |

In fairness their statements simply said that they had come to a decision not to appoint a replacement for Lowes, AFAIK they never said that they hadn't considered a replacement. There is a not so subtle difference. |
