No disrespect towards Briscoe but I was surprised when we signed him as we've already got a class winger in BJB..( one of our own ) ...gutted to hear the news

I was supprised at the time and felt the same, however have been happy with briscoe. Think we can afford to lose BJB. It's Watkins and Hardaker we really need to try and retain |

Wouldn't mind him at Hull on the left wing, if were are deffo signing SA for next season and moving Yeaman to back up then that would be a very tasty combination, sadly our owner is an idiot & showing he's a tight wad all mouth no action type and out coach hasn't got a 'scooby' so there's Zero chance of him coming to us..

And no disrespect to BJB, excellent player, but certainly not as good as Calderwood was on leaving us. Then again though I do think BJB is a little more grounded and interested in his own game. |

Not for me. Yes he was good, but taking the whole package and all the problems he brings would prefer BJB in the team to calderwood |

You can't slate Hall for defence just a few weeks ago and then say Cslderwood was the best winger you've seen at Leeds. He couldn't tackle for sh*t. |

I know you were late supporting Leeds, but unsure how late, and if later than his time. Calderwood was a brilliant defender, and no winger has come close to his kick chase pressure. Not sure where you get that about defence.
But anyway I simply gave my own opinion on the standing of BJB, and this thread is about him.
Edit: just looked back at his last season stats here. 154 tackles and 12 misses. Show me a winger who matches that. In comparison to Hall that you brought up, last season Hall did 75 tackles and 29 misses. The difference in the tackles is mainly down to the brilliant use of his fantastic kick chase. |

BTW, 1997 and yes his kick chase was good but then again it takes more than one good area to make a winger.....note Hall and making strong metres  |
