Quote: Maverick Rhino "There have been a few post game shots at Delaney this year.
This baffles me.
If I wanted to design a hard working, straight running, second row machine for my ideal team to drain the opposition with every contact he was involved in; Brett Delaney would be my template.'"
Two or three times a game he will take the ball up and look to angle across the defensive line, looking for a team-mate to hit a line off him. I can remember only once when someone has put their hands up, and that was Clarkson in one of the games at home to Wakefield last year. It led to a try.
There is, potentially, more to his game than just a carthorse. Would be nice if some of his team-mates figured that out occasionally.
