Hopefully it should be a great game like the original edition.

Yeah and it's nowhere near easy enough to edit teams or players. There's some daft things in there, but at least the gameplay itself is much more like an RL game

Im with you i think the game play is good.

If im going to pay for the new game though, which is pretty much the same one as i have now with WC included, then the least i am expecting is for the players to be updated stats wise.The Burgess twins for example have not been updated on the recent Download content and are poor.

You can get £20 for the current game on EBay so that will be the route i go if i decide to purchase.

I'm pretty disappointed its not a dlc tbh. I have the original, then they released a DLC about 6 months ago with 2013 rosters etc which I bought, they are now releasing a "new" game which will pretty much be that with the world cup added.

RLL2 is a big improvement on previous games but this is just a way for them to milk as much money of possible out of the original release.

But if it gives them the capital to build RLL3 then I suppose you can't blame them

No but I can blame them for other things like the incredibly frustrating method editing teams and players, or the lack of Challenge Cup in Franchise mode etc

Sadly, going from the experience of previous games in the series, I don't have confidence that these things will be fixed in the next game.
