Play him at prop

According to another thread on this forum McShane and Moore plus cash are going to Wakefield in exchange for Aiton and Poore.we then still have a hooker who is arguably better than McShane!

Wouldn't matter if it was Roby Clarke or
Aiton if kev wants to play at 9 he'll play at 9

maybe if he's so unprofessional to bad mouth his boss in public where he will be heard by fans them that's why he's not had a good relationship with mcdermott?

I hate it when people hint at stuff like this, but never go into detail.

It's time McShane was either given a set role in the team or let go to another super league club.

He's been in and around the team for years now but a set role has never been nailed down. He's not our first choice starting hooker, but he's not an interchange hooker either. All this ''you're the only hooker in the first team squad but most of the time we will play other players in your position, but we'll still keep hold of you'' is starting to irritate me.

I think he'd make a decent interchange hooker because he can get out of dummy half quite fast and produce something different, i don't think he's good at setting the tempo of a game or directing play from the start.

Th biggest moan amongst Rhinos supporters is to sort out the hooker role. Kevin can revert to his former position of13 or6 but I realise this has implications for other players.

It'll also be interesting to see what implications Kevin's roles have for other England players during the World Cup. I guess we'll have to wait and see what roles Kevin wants for himself first, along with the roles he doesn't want for himself.

How can he direct play when everything goes through sinfield and is told to just tackle and pass? Imo he is one of our smartest players but I don't know if he's got an 80 minute engine and would be better off at another team where he can play more regularly

That works both ways - his boss has to treat him correctly to get the right correct of respect. Can't say I have seen McShane being treated very equitably by McDermott.
