| A few people have said Tom briscoe is coming and bish is staying, because the club don't want another vickery scenario. I myself can't see this tbh as we have duckworth who looks an adequate SL player. If briscoe comes someone will leave. A few rumblings on twitter that we are likely to sign Dayne Weston or atleat looking at him, don't know much about him other than he's a prop/back rower

| In an ideal world, and choosing realistic targets, I'd like to see us sign;
A hooker - In order of preference, Clarke (although i beliebe he's already Wire bound),Lunt or Aiton. Or as a bit of a curve ball, maybe try tempt Buderus into going round again for another year - he was very good at the back end of the year for the Knights - maybe a player/assistant coach role?
A halfback - As I mentioned on another thread, someone who's a danger ball in hand, aswells as a ball player - Michael Dobson would do nicely - he's been signed by the Knights as a squad man, and stated he wanted to return to Oz - maybe we could tempt him though.
A hard running/hitting prop/forward - not many around that would be available. Anthony Tupou has been awesome for the Sharks this year off the bench, playing a mix of prop/back row. Hits the line hard, tackles well and has a bit of x-factor offload in him. He's a gamble as he's missed alot of games per te past few years and has been inconsistent, but played plenty this year and has really added something to the Sharks. I also believe he's OOC.

| just as a thought, as of the end of 2014 (i.e. when we expect Kylie & JP to retire) Ben Hannant, Sam Moa & James Graham are all OOC with their current NRL clubs. Any two of those backed up by Singleton & Bailey, and we're fair set.

Agree although I can't see graham playing for any other SL club other than saints if he returns to England that is.

| Last thing I want to see is desperate signings that are not the long term answer. Just because Hetherington has not fulfilled his role and been proactive, does not mean we should rush out now and make the situation worse. We will have to live with it in most cases, and hope that he starts much earlier next year ready for 2015.
That said, I would love it if we could somehow broker a deal for Kirmond. Would really make up for how many matches Delaney will miss.
