I agree, Warrington were always going to pick Huddersfield on the basis they've had good results over the course of the season. Though I'm sure about 8/10 posters from Leeds and Wigan have told us repetatively that the league results mean nothing come the play-offs.
The other possible reason is Warrington have known since Thursday night who they were playing, so from training on Friday they could start to properly prepare and even earlier in the week they could have had a good idea as they stated "we were always going to play the victors of the Giants vs. Hull game". I think for the first time a club has used club-call properly and to the best advantage they can.
Did we really all want to watch repeats of week one? I certainy didn't. We've now got two potentially great semi-finals.
