meaningful in terms that they went out if they lost, but against a team that have won half a dozen (if that) away games this year it wasn't that meaningful at all.
i will say that i was impressed with hull defence tonight, just as i was last night with Huddersfield's despite them losing. Seems a few times have learnt that its not all about scoring tries, defending repeats sets is where the games are really won these days.
only real shame tonight was that menzies try was ruled out, it was a try for mine at slow speeds (he had his arms and/or fingers on the ball at all times), At real speed it was a dead set try and would have shown if hull really have the stones to mix it with the big boys this year
