You don't necessarily go looking for tackles to make. You do, however, look for the ball to take to the difence. or you don't, in the case of Kirke. ^ carrioes again this week.'"
I hear what you're saying and I fully agree with his usual PP number of carries per game. But I am sure his main role to defend around the ruck and I thought on this occassion he was quite active in the heat for a big man. His 27 tackles and 6 carries were made in 39 minutes so there was little time to make more carries to be fair.
Quote: G1 "WRT to the anti Burrow faction I recall a home game with London three or four years ago where he received a rash of criticism on here from many of the usual suspects. TVOC was repoducing the Opta stats in those dates and they came out to show a record for try assists on the part of the wee-man. Bizarre. '"
The ABF (Anti-Burrow Faction) spokesmen say he only runs sideways and 'down blind alleys' and can only miskick off the outsides of his boots...... yet he made 124 metres forwards (similar to BJB) 22 carries, 2 clean breaks, 4 tackle busts, 3 attacking kicks (one of which led to JP's try) 8 tackles and one offload. He was a constant threat and created space for his team mates. Yes he did make two handling errors but that happens in sport. As you say Bizarre
