Signing briscoe on a free and selling BJB might be a sacrifice for funds for a new hooker. Would you take losing BJB and signing briscoe and Lunt or Clarke? I personally would if that was the scenario. But if it is just 1 in and 1 out I would rather keep BJB

There would have to be some pretty mighty contract improvements for us to have lost Senior, Lauititi, Webb, Buderus, Smith. Burgess, Hauraki, Lunt, Griffin and gained only Achurch, Moon, Moore and Vickery and be even close to being troubled by the salary cap.

Many players have had contract renewals and upgrades though we may not be at the full SC limit but just judging it on who's left and who's joined isn't accurate to what's gone on.

If we are wanting to improve our squad why on earth are we (a team of Leeds standing) offering players like Clark less money than he is on now?

Not less than he is on. But less than Wire and significantly less than Salford.

Leeds have a very well publicised pay structure. It means we sometimes lose some of our own players and sometimes lose out on players who hit the market.

It also means we have a fantastic team spirit and is one of many intangibles that have led to our success.

Players come to Leeds for things other than Money, why do think we are not in the hunt for Mr Chase ? He will end up going to the highest bidder for money and that will be Salford. Thus his prospects of winning something will be feck all ! Ask why many Leeds players sign with Leeds ? its not the money and we can't compete with Wigan and Wire and Salford in the money department. As far as acadamy and silver ware goes then we certainly can. I am affraid all the money Mr koolcash has and Mr Pearson at Hull has won't buy him a Leeds ! Players that tend to come just for money, come for all the wrong reasons
