Ten teams will concentrate your best 200 players into the competition, 150 or so of which would then be eligible for the national team.
Games like the recent London-Salford one have no place in an elite competition. Likewise games where one side can effectively clock off after 50 minutes with the job done.'"
OR Just cut it off at 12 and axe this promotion and relegation just like the NRL, focus on building a solid competitive 12 team league without the threat of relegation. (Or cur to ten with the view to bring in two current or new teams over the next 3 - 5 yrs based on merit and business support - then cut it off)
Create a better revenue stream for the Championship and build this again to be a more solid competition. Good players wil make the transition up from the Championship.
Dual registration could actually be a good and bad thing depending on how it is used, but if the SL doesn't bring back Academy system then the Chanpionship has to look like the Toyota Cup in the NRL and you should force the hann to partner each club with another.......
All options will some people off but rather than ths YO YO diet we are having with league structure, licence's and relegation and promotion, make a sensible decision and focus the energy.....
