No difference to a clause in a contract of a certain welsh half. You can put anything into a contract! It just means hudds get first dibs. All parties meed to be in agreement.
I think Harris was a different deal to Eden. The clause with Eden is that Hudds have first refusal should another team chase his signature. They also have the right to bring him back after two years if he wants to go to them. I'd be interested in the first refusal as I'm sure it'd be a case of Hudds having to match any other teams offer if higher.
Harris however was different. He switched codes. If he had stayed in union for the rest of his playing career Leeds would have got jot. However he agreed to us holding his registration in RL and that it'd only be released for a fee should he return to the sport. This kind of deal can only work f the p,Ayer leave the sport, and to be honest at he time as said by many in both codes it was a vet shrewd move. I highly doubt that kind of clause would see the light of day again
