| Whatever happened to "all commentators to remaining impartial and unbiased when giving their views on a game"? Sure Murray Walker got a slating for hinting at being unbiased one race.
To be honest Radio Leeds is getting bad... that Jamie Bloom last night was ridiculous saying how you beat Leeds and the best way to catch Leeds out etc etc..... the whole thing has become a precesion now. I literally watched the SKY game last night with large parts muted!

| i think the worst phil clarke moment was in march against leeds. last minute kick over the top from wigan to charnley. charnley catches ball but loses it trying to ground it and knocks on in goal.
Phil clarke is pleading with anyone and everyone that he did indeed ground it and to go to the video ref. Even though subsequent replays showed he was talking crap.
it was very very pathetic to listen too, especially from a "professional"
Still makes me smile thinking of the high pitched whining noise he made though =)

| I thought Bill Arthur and all the rest did a good job on Monday night without Eddie. Think Eddie tries to create too much controversy which just winds the other lot up.
I assume his absence was just temporary? Maybe it was Just-for-men time again?!

| The problem with Eddie and stevo (amongst others) is that they are always so negative about the game

| I've said for many years that Eddie is the main problem.
There should be a commentator (Eddie) and an ex pro to give opinion (Stevo). Eddie gives opinion he's not qualified to do and Stevo is just a cliche these days.
To get the balance right we need a decent commentator who will stick to that role(Bill Arthur) and rotate Carney and Barrie Mac for analysis.

| Surprisingly, the BBC are starting to get ahead of Sky in the commentary stakes.
Woods and Kear calling the game, Noble and Millward doing studio analysis, Tanya Arnold on the sidelines - only Robbie Hunter-Paul's inability to think, walk and talk at the same time really letting the side down.
