It's when all the traffic is backed up in the outside lanes and I was going left. I waited right into near enough the end then checked and went across with half my car in the lane. The camera is situated about 10 metres before you are allowed to go into the left lane. Didn't appeal because there was no defending it and would of cost me more. Just annoying they put them in such ridiculous positions. I wasn't exactly driving all the way down the bus lane.

Is there signs stating there is a bus lane camera and that you shouldn't use the lane?

Is there any hashed markings too near the junction or is it a solid white line?

Iv been caught speeding on the Motorway before but seriously, if you are dumb enough to drive in a bus lane then you deserve the fine. It's not like they aren't marked well enough. It's a bus lane FFS

Just after the camera it goes into a normal lane with a white arrowed marker signalling you to move into that lane. That is what gets you. Bit like when they situate speed cameras just before 40 signs. Makes you think it is a 40 zone when it's still 30.

But still, it's a bus lane!! Same with city speed cameras. I've never been stupid enough to get caught when it goes from 40 to 30 because the speed camera signs are clearly marked and I can read. Not been holier than thou because iv got 3 points on my licence from a cop sat on a bridge over a motorway but when the signs are all over the place you should never get caught.

Ride a bike - you can blast through speed camera's, stick the V's a bus lane camera's and moon traffic light pap's.

The speed camera I am talking about is in horsforth just after kobe. It goes downhill from 30-40 but the speed camera is situated just infront of the 40 sign but in the 30 zone. I've not been caught by this but I have seen númerous people flashed. I am just giving examples of sneaky cameras haha. I have 0 points and have never been caught speeding. Dont get any points for been in a bus lane thank god haha.
