But there doesn`t look like there`s that much snow around.
I seem to remember playing in Wales when the snow was much worse .
That was on SKY and it went ahead.

There's loads up here in Pudsey but I went to Leeds earlier and it was like it hasn't even snowed. Wakey may have been similar to up here. Snow games have been called off on sky before though although It was a while back.

Hardly anything on York Rd, Crossgates or Colton.
Anyway it is off now so we will see how we go on Sunday.
Hopefully BMcD will rotate the pack now with 3 games in 8 days.

That's what I'm saying though. I live 10 miles away from there yet there's probably 5 inches on the roads and its still coming down. You can never tell.

I doubt it will be because of injured players returning, from what I have seen on Twitter AG wanted the game to go ahead, Why would we want to post-pone a game when we have one a few days later? Surely we would want the maximum recovery time as possible just like every other team. Surely by the weather you have seen tonight you have understood why the game has been called off. Even if it was at 11AM this morning atleast they got it right.

Looking at the amount of snow we had overnight and the forecast for the rest of today, I would be amazed if this game goes ahead tomorrow

Got to agree, especially if the local authorities prove to be as inept as they have been in the last 24 hours. The main Leeds to Otley road was treacherous by 10pm last night and as I look out of the window there's 7 or 8 inches of snow covering the road . Spectator safety will see this game off even if they do manage to clear the pitch tomorrow.

Peter Smith has tweeted that Wakey are looking for volunteers to clear the pitch - take your own shovel!!

If the reported attendance figure is correct, St Helens may be left wondering if it was worth the effort getting the game on last night :

Both terraces were closed at Langtree Park last night because of the weather. It was sub 10k at Warrington as well.
