Hi All,

I know this is a rugby league forum and myself am a huge Cas Fan and come from a decent background in Rugby League myself. Iv recently become head coach at our Castleford Rugby Union under 15's side. We today beat Cleckheaton in the quarter finals of the cup to progress and we are really urging new players to come down. We have big sides in the competition with typical Rugby Union backgrounds and us Cas folk are a different breed! If you have a son who may be interested or a grandson, newphew, kid next door or anyone please could you back our cause.

Congratulations for beating John Bentley's team

My brother coaches junior sides at an RU club and I know from him that the set up of the clubs at that level are very similar to what you'd find in any rugby club of any code, just decent people trying to make sport work for young people, good luck in the next round, who do you play ?

We are actually awaiting announcement on who we next play but its 1 of the top 3 clubs, more than likely we'll get Driffield. Semi Final actually played on 23rd December!

My young un who has played for Stanningley since he was six has just signed up for Bramley Pheonix rufc during the close season, he just wants to play rugby. Good luck with the cup game.
