I'm surprised because he seemed to be working all year towards a scenario where he could always guarantee he was correct all along.
- if Leeds lose he's right that they aren't good enough.
- if Leeds win he's hammered the playoff format line so much he could claim Leeds winning from 5th proves him correct again.
Either way he could claim his much desired 'i told you so moment'.
