As for Jimmy Saville. It's just a crying shame the b*stard got away with it scot free. Never liked the bugger in the first place. Met him twice, and on both occasions found him to be an absolute tw*t of the highest order. Can't say I'm surprised by the allegations it was clear for all to see that he was slime ball.

Last week it was reported on Look North that a female optician had been sent to Saville's home to to provide glasses for his mother. According to the optician she was invited into the living room by Saville, where he preceded to drop his pant's and say "How's about this then". How Harry Gration kept a straight face during that report I'll never know.

IF he was still alive now,would he still be walking round Roundhay park acting like a benevolant celebrity and going in those restaurants on street lane posing for pics?would that TV show been produced and put out if he was still alive?

You’re obviously not aware of the judicial process known as “Trail by media” which means that if something gets printed in a newspaper/tabloid and then another newspaper/tabloid prints the same/similar story it becomes fact.

According to an ex copper the BBC wheeled out this morning, who was asked why the Police seem so certain in the absence of a defendents version of events there's various ways they, or if JS were still alive the CPS, would satisfy themselves that there was a very strong case against.

In this instance it's number of people making allegations, whether other witnesses corroborate allegations, whether reports were made at the time of the incident that indicate it's not a recent fabrication and most tellingly whether there's a clear pattern/style of offending clearly described by a number of unconnected witnesses and victims.
