I can't see how it can be just assumed the club is at fault here. Maybe the stories about attitude and reasoning the club decided to sever ties, is just backed up by him not been there. You never know.

I don't, and I didn't just assume it was the club saying you can't come.

All I said was it was a shame he wasn't there for the fans to say thanks for the service. Didn't presume it was either webbs or the clubs decision.

Moving forward if evolution in our team (Zak the young lion moving the old pride of Webb on) can be as effective as that we have lots to look forward to. Replacing a club hero with one of the most exciting prospects in the game - we've got it pretty good. And with the efforts Zaks put it and what he's already pulled out of the hat we have a new hero (2 times GF winner) on our hands.

A friend that came to the Grand Final with us was on the 16 bus from Leeds to Pudsey at about 11am saw him stood outside the tattooists on Kirkgate with a fag in hand - I thought he would have been with the team at the final!
