carnt see singleton going backwards in numbers he num 23 now, you dont often see players going backwards, and i think he be in for a lot of game time neext season ,he prob stay same number or move up a bit nearer the 17, only my opinion tho ! | | |

You're probably correct but (failing a quality signing) I'd rather see it go to a regular first grader.
IMO shirts 1 to 13 should be reserved for those established players that have made the grade. The numbers don't have to and often don't correlate to starting positions anymore. One of the centres wears 12, the stand off wears 13, the scrm half wears 6, the hooker wears 7 and the best winger wears 16. | | | |

According to pure speculation Keinhurst will have a squad number from the range 20-25. As we know GH is still looking for an experienced, quality centre and if we sign one then he'll have squad number 4. If rumours are right this might be Joel Moon but according to Yorkshire Radio last night we are still searching? | | |

If Keinhorst gets the number four.....surely he becomes a regular first grader  , plus rather have him as a good prospect than an import player, leaves more cap space, I can imagine there is a large difference in payment and contract between these two options and with regular game time I don't think there will be a big difference in ability or performance.
Also usually the squad numbers are revised each year to represent the probable squad that the coach thinks is his starting 17 plus squad players....it just makes sense...this isn't the NFL or Hockey | | | |
