My mate hasn't decided to press criminal charges but has asked that the authorities pass on the name of the person in question to Leeds Rhinos, along with a description of the event & cctv should they want it.

I think that's the most reasonable outcome for all, including us the genuine RL fans.
Hopefully LR will take it seriously & take the actions they see as appropriate.

Even if he is "unknown" to them they will have a name and a mugshot to be aware of in future.

I was with GCH in the first coach on the train and also didn't see anything. There was one Leeds fan getting a bit hot under the collar about the banter but he appeared to walk off when the train got in.

As others have said I hope the guy who did this can be identified and dealt with. Banter is one thing, this goes beyond the pale.

So we have an allegation of "choking". We're told the alleged assailant claims to have been attacked first, but this is disputed. Now we're told the alleged victim no longer wishes to press charges.

Time to let this thread go away and events elsewhere take their course.
