| Bailey would love this, a topic all about him with nearly 300 pages...
Fact is most teams have a scrapper... Bailey is Leeds'.

But most of those 'scrappers' at least have some talent.....Hock at Wigan, Westwood at Wire being examples - Bailey as nothing to offer, bar being a cock....

| TBF the worst incident by a mile today came from Paul Wood for his punch on Ablett.

Was it not Carvell?
Back O/T Bailey was poor today. I'm a fan of his but he had a bit of a mare.

A bit of biff is always welcome in the game - Wood and Ablett were having a little disagreement, and it certainly wasn't a snide punch or anything untoward, so i have little complaint with that.
However, with Bailey, its all a bit schoolground bully-style with him.....Happily throws his weight about with the weedy kids, then goes missing when the big lads take an interest in proceedings.
Oh yes, and as i said before, he's total too....

Will come diving in minutes late on Hodgson, but as soon as Chris Hill got interested (and he isn't the biggest prop in the world by any means) suddenly that's it from Bailey for the afternoon. Massive coincidence though I'm sure.

I'd have to see the build up to that again and perhaps from a different angle but Ablett appeared as if he may have caught Wood somewhere on the face, possibly with an outstretched finger-nail.
Glad Ablett didn't choose to retaliate - wouldn't want to see him spoil his reputation.

| The challenge cup final seems to bring out the worst in Bails. 3 years in a row where both his performance and behaviour haven't been the best. Is it a case of wanting it to much and not being able to control his emotions?

Wasn't that also Bailey?
I think it's called watching the game with both eyes. Matters not to me which team a player plays for if they have a problem with a running into contact technique that could possibly cause a fellow professional a cheap but crude gender realignment.
I'm fairly sure I made the same comments when it used to be a part of Stuart Fielden's game also. Thankfully it's no longer a part of eithers, at least that I can recall before Fielden's injury, which can only be a positive for all their opponents.

I concur, it's almost as if he can't channel the adrenalin, yesterday you could see he was pumped when the teams walked out but what with all the arm waving? He wasn't the only man on the field. If he was to channel that and do devistaing runs like JP the team would have carried more momentum going forward.
