TO BE FIXED |

| Took my lad to the game tonight . One or two of you met him . He has been to 'nines' , and several other rugby events , but circumtances meant that I either took him , or I missed the game .
I would much rather have introduced him to the game proper at a quieter fixture , but as the kick off loomed closer . and the babysitting options list grew shorter I opted to take him with me .
I wasn't too keen on the idea of sharing his first proper full game day experience at HQ in the middle of the Western Terrace , but fortunately we found a steward with some common sense , and feeling for the occasion that allowed us to transfer to the SouthStand .
I will be forever grateful to that steward . Was so proud to see my lad sat on the wall at the west side of the SS explaining the meaning of JP's song to all the other kids . hehehehehehe
Although he was very nervous at first he soon got into the atmosphere and rather enjoyed himself . So much so that he wants to go again tomorrow .
To watch a lad that was recently under the wheels of a zafira and consequently in a wheelchair to bounce up and crack on as if such events had never even happened totally amazed me . How do they manage to blank their history out like that ?
Again , thanks to everyone who said hello to Carl tonight (those who could catch him) .
