The RFL is at a key point in its history as an organisation. The appointment of the next permanent chairman will determine whether it continues to build on recent successes, or falls away and returns to its bad old ways.

But imagine how much better it could have been if it hadn't been run by such failures as Richard Lewis & his management team.
