I think some of the blame has to be shouldered by McDermott BUT those people who think let's get rid of him and all will be solved, are completely deluded.

That's pretty much bang on. There is more that one thing which needs fixing at Leeds.

But as he's clearly not the man to do it nothing will change for the better until we find someone who can.

Dropping a player only to replace him with an inferior player who weakens the side isn't a good way to prolong a coaching career. Watkins and McGuire apart, that was the strongest side available to the coach IMO.

That he's being forced to race in F1 with a 1976 Morris Minor isn't entirely his fault.

Ok I think I get it now. If Brian McDermott hadn't sold Eric Cantona we could have been reigning SL and World Club Champions by now.
