Great player in his day but that was around 5 seasons ago. The 'Wolfman' was playing Origin and in the Kangaroos team then but his best days are behind him. Would probably be after one big pay day before retiring so could be on your rader. Saints are still suppose to be lining up Jamie Lyon again so it could be classed as an old pals reunion in the Super League. Just what we need.

No chance. The lad is playing Origin now and is not going to jepodise his chances playing more representive footie. Also with the World Cup around the corner and the chance to play for Australia. You are living in cloud cookoo land!

So is he going to be your Joel Monaghan next season? Come on be realistic. One thing you do have is a decent three quarter line at Leeds. You need to sort out your half backs out. Where is Burrows natural position, McGuire needs some competition as he is starting to stagnate and is in a comfort zone. Sinfield IS NOT a half back and should be playing loose forward. Dont rate Ablett at all but he is a second row and not a centre. You maybe need a good quality full back, a young up and coming half back and a couple of decent props to replace Peacock and Leuleui.

Forwards in order of preference;

Mark Minichello, Matt Ballin, Moi Moi, Russell Packer, Jeremy Latimore, Dene Halatau, Ukuma Ta'ai

Backs;

Brett Stewart, Sam Perrit, Jonathan Wright, Steve Turner

Unfortunately, the majority of those Who are Aussies ain't really gonna be available to a Superleague team due to having Origin or international hopes, or the salaries they'd expect.
I'd be tempted to throw some money at some of the kiwis as they may come over, and have a real bash at Stewart who may be tempted to get away from the Aussie press.

A good list and I agree that the Aussie's will not want to forego SOO and internationals so target the Kiwis. We were linked with Sam Perrit 3/4 years ago.
As I mentioned on another thread there is a rumour linking us to David Williams.
Stewart would be a great fullback but can't see him leavng Manly.
