Tricky Dicky was down to do Wigan vs Saints originally, until he was "injured". We then got Thaler, and a young lad called George Stokes was brought up to do the Wire vs Widnes game.
Sky said during the Saturday broadcast that Silverwood had been 'dropped' without any further reference but the fact he was on VR duties on Sunday suggests they were perhaps wide of the mark.
Thinking about a possible reason for a temporary demotion checking his last performance, he and/or his touch judge did allow a Bradford try after an apparently clear-cut offside on the chase (Ainscough?) at Salford that perhaps cost the home side a point?
