For Pubs (and for food) go to either:
Goose, Yates (Lord Street) and The Waterside - these are about 10-15 mins walk to Stadium, Centurion, Britannia and Ellesmere already mentioned.
There is also the Harvester on the Parsonage Retail Park (where Sainsburys is) - on the other side of Leigh.
Robin Hood (near Fire Station) park there and you can walk to the Stadium.

You missed out the White Lion and Boar's Head Ste, bloody useless! (All of the named pubs are on Leigh Road/Market Street/King Street/St Helens Road by the way which is basically one straight road anyway, with plenty more pubs besides!) |
