Signing another back rower would indicate there are no plans for Sinfield to return to playing loose forward any time soon.
It would also mean that when everyone is available one of Ellis, Delaney, Ablett and JJB would have to get used to operating off the bench rather than in the starting line up.

I'd have no problem with Delany coming off the bench. He'd certainly add the most impact. I guess Hauraki would have to leave though |

Hauraki departing and Ellis arriving is well worth it and will give that extra "Leader" in the pack when JP leaves. |
