Obviously I wasn't at the game today,and from what I have been hearing from my mates about the Widnes fans today I can only apologise about my remarks about my earlier experiences at Naughten Park,I also like Salford and Halifax.I dont talk about them who were silent before 2010

Really enjoyed it both games (u20's) were enjoyable from our own pov and i can only echo what has been posted above re-support for both teams.

Not that long, less than a year... but of course not to play Widnes! I know it was a game we are trying to erase from our memories, but I do just remember it!

I enjoyed the general chit-chat and general conversations that started about 65 minutes in.

I'm just glad for the Widnes lot that the game got neatly wrapped up in good time before the main event - the football.

Yes, the atmosphere was good & the home fans got behind their team.
But I was disappointed at the number of home fans in attendance.
The East stand was empty & the North & South stands both less than 2/3rds full.
Just over 6000 there including about 2,500 travelling Rhinos fans to see the WCC & SL Champions.
Those numbers do not make the club sustainable in the long run.
After the club fought so hard to get back into SL not good IMV.

Oh well not as many as I thought judging it from being sat in the middle & with no idea opf the capacity of the West Stand.
Still we represented approx 25% of the attendees.
If I were attached to Widnes I'd be disappointed at the number of home supporters there, despite the undoubted attraction of Cardiff vs Liverpool on tv.

PS How can you be so precise about the number of Rhinos fans in attendance?

Good stadium, nice seating, good atmosphere well done to Widnes fans for sticking it out and the genuine clapping for the rhinos WCC victory. I thought there were a couple of thousand of us but still not bad. Only bad thing about the day oh that M62

Widnes know how many away fans from numbers going through the turnstyle mate in the West Stand.North and South Stands have the most seats in them, and to be honest it was mainly die hards at the game due to our bad displays this year.I know a few who went to the Liverpool game, and i am sure more home fans will turn up when improve.Well more fans than London,Crusaders,Salford and after a few seasons i think will catch Castleford up on attendances.Anyway i went as a die hard, but is painful to watch a team get smashed everyweek?
