| I think we did well against Hull KR but work is needed in defence, especially on Lee smiths side as i think he was quite poor. He will more than likely stay playing though. also, thought Burrow didnt have the same effect starting at hooker than he does coming from the bench. Jamie Jones-Buchanan looked fine after the game. Id go:
Webb;
Smith, Watkins, Hardaker, Hall;
Sinfield, McGuire;
Bailey, McShane, Peacock;
Jones-Buchanan, Ablett;
Clarkson / Hauraki.
Burrow, Delaney, Leuluai, Griffin
Moore, Hauraki.

86.jpg Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.
But you’ve got to keep believing.:86.jpg |

[quote="Damo-Leeds":2s3i877q]Sam Tomkins is just mere hype hiding behind a good team. Danny McGuire is the real deal.[/quote:2s3i877q]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9237.gif |

| Quote: Ancient Provocateur "Oh dear indeed. The Brigantes were a pre-Roman tribal grouping that actually spanned virtually the whole of northern England, with most of their substantial settlements (and capital) in Yorkshire, so there is no particular reason to connect Wigan to them over any other northern place. In fact, the north-west was pretty much a write off as far as the Romans were concerned - York was the highest ranking settlement. Hell, even Castleford was more important than Wigan.
There's some irony that this little cheer squad of theirs effectively celebrates Yorkshire dominance. I've tried to point this out on their board but they don't seem to have the wit to comprehend
...and Leeds isn't exactly a hotbed for Rhinoceroses either. Seems to me it doesn't really matter what groups decide to call themselves. As long as they're having a good time, not doing anyone any harm, and livening up the atmosphere at matches it's all good for me.
Don't you think you're taking your analysis just a little bit deeper than it really deserves?

Fat, slow, stubborn and grumpy. Leeds has plenty of history of Rhinoceroses, thank you very much.

LEEDS RL AND CITISENS OF LEEDS ARE LOINERS!Whatever that name is derived from and there are several it is a name which is synonimous to the to the City of Leeds and I voted for Loiner to be incorporated into the SL name ,but Leeds are not Rhinos ,but it has a tradition of of Slaughter houses destroying Bulls !.Its just marketable names ,but the American names at least seem to relate to the local area .This SL thing with Marketable nicknames seem's to be a rhyming thing,but who cares as long as our game grow's that is important.I am from the same generation as Rogues Gallery ,and still relate back to the old days,and I hated the name rhinos,but one day [on the road to Damascus] I saw outside the ground a young mum with 4 YOUNG KIDS all lined up in blue and Amber ,I thought these kids are the fans of the future, how can I crib all this?

| The game against Wigan was like a warm memory from last year! A typical game from last season during our 'patchy' spell (most of the season!)
You couldn't fault our effort, people made the yards, tackles were made, half breaks were made, chances were bombed and the kicking game was poor. We hung onto the coat-tails whilst never really looking threatening.
If it would have been against weaker opponents we probably would have won, by plenty. But Wigan played it smart, targeted our flanks then built a lead and went through the motions. Their final kick play was always deep and kept us in our own half. Played Wigan. Plenty to think about for Leeds.
