Quote: tad rhino "saw shed seven on there last night of the tour in york last night.
a young band from york, likely kids, opened up. very raw but the talent and potential was there for all to see, very buzzcockesque.
former seahorses frontman chris helme followed with an excellent acoustic set.
finally home time boys shed seven came on. the lighting was brilliant and it was loud enough to hurt your ears.
a few songs from a maximum high were played to start with followed by some classics such as disco down and going for gold. the encore was a cover of the smiths panic before chasing rainbows ended the night with a capacity crown baying for more.
if you like indie stuff this was the night for you. there were no fillers, just one pounding hit after another. i know total loiner enjoyed it too. for me this was a night to remember for a long timne'"
cracking night mate, when the sheds opened with parallel lines that made my night it's one of my favorite sheds songs, the likely lads were very good i thought, everything a young band should be raw energetic and can back it up with good songs, chris helme was really good too. it was great having a chat too beforehand mate.
