Quote: McLaren_Field "Population of Leeds circa 725,000.
Average number of season tickets sold by Leeds Rhinos circa 12,000
And you think that shirts and stickers are a bit thinly diluted ?'"
Not only that... but those 12,000 don't walk around dressed in full gear all the time.
I'm a season ticket holder and attend 90% of away matches. I don't own a replica shirt. I have a zippy hoody which I'll wear but only to matches, and even then if it's too hot for a hoody I'll just wear whatever t-shirt I happened to put on that morning.
I have no car stickers either.
Sorry for generalising here (or sounding snobby) but... perhaps if it appears there's more fans in the more working class areas it's because the more working class folk are more likely to have the visual signifier that they're a fan.
I mean this...
Quote: McLaren_Field "By contrast, in Alwoodley where i now live, I very rarely see anyone wearing a shirt, car stickers or anything.'"
doesn't mean there's not as many fans, I just suggest anyone choosing to live in Alwoodley isn't the sort of person to do their shopping in a replica kit.
