Something quite cringeworthy that's crept in over the last few years is when a person is asking for something in a shop/pub and says "Can i get ?". It's normally snotty little students or those "young professional" types you see in All Bar One and the like.
Yuppie type, "Can I get two pints of lager"
Me behind the bar, "Of course you can but what do you actually WANT you little ?"

It kind of loses it's impact when the derogatory word is replaced by "little nice guy". What's that all about ?
