Got 4 good seats together in North Stand on Saturday, about 10 metres from where I normally sit. As only two of us are ST holders presumably we have 2 belonging to other season ticket holders. They, if they are attending will also presumably get tickets close to where they normally sit. IMO, it only becomes a problem if too many ST holders take up the option to get an extra seat, as we did, leaving some without seats at all.
In any case, if the game had been played at Elland Road or elsewhere, I'd have been at least three and a half miles from my own seat, so I don't really see what the fuss is about.
