The end is near for Andy Reid I reckon. With all the money that has been invested in that team they need a return. Sean McDermott sorely missed IMO. Reid is losing the players. A loss against against the Giants and that could be it. |

The Gold Coast Titans Stadium looks excellent. Capacity in excess of 27,000 enclosed would create a great atmosphere. Need something along a similar design.

I never did like those 'cookie cutter' stadiums like the Vet, Three Rivers, Riverfront etc.
Never saw a game there either but I was in Philadelphia when they tore it down and it was quiet a big deal at the time. |

Why the mere thought of Wakefield City Council trying to impose themselves and dictate planning policy in another city, protect it's own selfish interests to the detriment of another local authority, politicians abusing their position as leader of the council for a handful of votes, the fact that we are 'all' supposed to be part of the Leeds City Economic Region and despite knowing that Leeds have had a massive economic advantage handed to them on a plate in the Aire Valley!!! I am sure Wakefield Council would not be so hypocritical as to object to a stadium, community sports facilities and thousands of jobs that would equally benefit the people of it's own city who live close to the border... would they?
After all, it is not a new music arena we are are talking about here is it... then of course... that would be different story! |
