I think that's a cracking squad. Would've preferred no Webb but I'll settle for that. McShane will be interesting. Great player. Let's see how he gets on filling Mr. Buderus' shoes.

Would be interesting to see a table of all the SL squads. Surely we'd be head and shoulders above the others?

Needless to say I am delighted the club has put its faith in so many " kids " .... We will miss Buderus ( esp in defence ) more than some might care to admit and maybe the hand has been forced owing to a dearth of proven talent in the key areas that needed strenghening - centre and ali-type second row - but I've got to be pleased. Hope McShane and Hood, in particular, can rise to the challenge in filling the boots of their illustrious predecessor. Being better than Diskin will present no problem of course

I'm surprised no-one has commented yet about GH's new villa in Barbados being the reason for the lack of signings........

....and I thought it was because of rendering new signings unnecessary owing to the faith in the quality of squad incumbents like the scintillating sublime Smith and king Kirke

And in the case of Wellens and Pryce, an account at 'Cash For Gold' for all the losers ones ....

I guess we'll be giving Squeef his age as a his squad number, when / if he comes back for the pay-as-you-play deal touted at the end of last season ...
