So Sean Long will be trotting out at Cross Green and Claro Road in the coming weeks. Should pull in some bigger crowds for Otley & Harrogate.

He has not played for them for a couple of seasons, but lives right next to the West Park ground & is still a regular in the clubhouse.

When Lowes was at West Park , he played at centre & was the goalkicker !!

Other notable ex-RL players who later turned out for junior RU clubs include John Bentley (Cleckheaton), Garry Schofield (Redcar), Gary Pearce (Pocklington), Graham Steadman (Knottingley) & Tony Marchant (Castleford RUFC).
