Just got mine today, had a quick look at the photos.
Lee Crooks book is a very good read too.

Don't plan on buying it but may have a glance if I see it on the shelves (unlikely as that may be in Exeter).

I think it is a mistake for players to release books before their careers have properly ended. Perhaps the publishers see it as a way of maximising sales when the player is still closely connected to the game but I think the chance for proper reflection is lost. From what has been said about the book in the media it would appear that Senior might already regret some of his 'revelations'.

I take on board what you're saying but it's not necessarily that straightforward. Were Senior, or anyone else, to turn down a book deal it simply might not materialise again. Wait a year and it might be JP or some other prominent player who gets the gig.

I have had a copy for a couple of weeks . I got bored and stopped at page 161 . No particular reason for that page number . It is mainly about horses , birds , and minor misdemeanors in his youth . I wouldn't have minded going out on a 'Dews Fest' . They sound like fun .
I might pick it back up and finish it some time .
