| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Makinson was 19 and in his debut season. Bailey has played for 9 years. Bailey wouldn't do it to Sia Soliola or Tony Puletua or James Graham, which I guess is what wound Wilkin up.'"
He did it to Maurie Faasavalu, why wouldn't he do it to any of those guys?
Personally, I thought his celebration was a bit OTT but I suspect there have been plenty of verbals going on during the game which none of us were party to. There's clearly no love lost between him and Saints, so I can forgive him a bit of over-exuberance.

I loved it.
There was more than the 80 minutes that he was burst over.
The England phone call that was looming, the medal he earnt to banish memories of stolen ones. Then factor in our actual season ending...........
His celebration was an orgasm of quite giant proportions.
Classic Bailey

| Quote handrags="handrags"perhaps i'm a bit bias'ed where Bailey is concerned [ I dont like the guy
but what is plain to see is the way he is quite enthusiastic confronting small players, but exits stage left at a rate of knots when there's a rumble with the big guys, If he manages to get into an england shirt , I for one will look forward to him roughing up the Ozzie props
'"
It's just a myth regarding Bailey always looking for the small guys. This year big crabtree went looking for a square up with Bailey. Bailey didn't back down but neither did he start throwing punches mindlessly, in the Tackle and hit ups he didn't go missing and ran at crabtree who is not small.
Again against Warrington didn't go missing and stood up to Morley and carvel again not small. He is no chicken but seems to have this reputation people with agendas seem to bring up.
Well done Bailey on your call up to England squad. And as for wilkin crying to the media again!!... Who looks childish? Mr wilkin I feel.

England's gaffers take on things:
www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/s ... _1_3857503
“I think Ryan Bailey has probably got under the skin of more players than anybody else in the competition and that’s part of his attraction,” McNamara told a news conference at the South Leeds Stadium.
“Jon was obviously disappointed and things get said in the heat of the moment after a game.
Translates to Wilkin had a hissy fit against the big, bad, brute.

| Wilkin actually took a needless pop at Bailey, sparking that little scuffle near the end. Luckily Bailey held him temper and we brought him straight off.
I've seen 2 people get the better of Bailey ever. Sculthorpe (when Bailey was what? 20? Bully!) and SBW. The rest of the 'softcock' 'windy fooker' and 'runs away when the big boys come in' is complete rubbish. He's always been fairly handy to have when it gets tough, never shirks any challenge and earns more penalties than he gives away.
P.S. If he didn't play for Leeds I'd hate him, just like I hated Sculthorpe (dirty, cheating get, was trapping the arm of the tackler while Sam Tomkins was still in nappies), Sam Tomkins and all those other great players who used to get the better of my team.
