My reply was to lionarmour87 who said it would be a bestseller; Keith's is, as far as we can tell, selling well because of the publicity generated by his apparently honest and controversial remarks.

And the fact he's been involved in plenty of off-field "scandals" making it easier to get a national tabloid to serialise it won't have hurt.

If Sinfield did an autobiography as vivid and revealing as that "Captain's Diary" thing he did back in 2003, it would be recommended reading for insomniacs.

It could be boring having every chapter end with '.....and then we beat St Helens to become Champions'

I won't be bored. In fact I won't mind if there's a volume 2 at some point.
